Builds
Upload an .ipa, attach a build to the version, and edit What to Test.
Builds lists the app’s last 25 builds, newest first, with version, upload date, processing state, expiry and TestFlight status. TakeOff does not compile anything; archive and export in Xcode.
Upload an .ipa
Choose Upload .ipa… (⇧⌘U). TakeOff reads the bundle ID and build number from the file and checks that the bundle ID matches the app and that the build number is not already at Apple, then uploads it and waits for Apple to process it.
Upload works for iOS, tvOS and visionOS apps. Mac builds still go through Xcode.
Attach a build
Attach a processed, valid build to the version you are preparing. Attaching is written to App Store Connect at once.
The inspector
Select a build to see its SDK and download and install sizes, and to edit its What to Test notes for TestFlight, up to 4000 characters.
